For the year 2015, The Mercedes Benz M class is looking to offer greater fuel efficiency along with a pair of astounding engines- a turbocharged V6 and smaller diesel. Moreover, it is also offering a fuel saving automatic engine start-stop technology for all the engines.

Trim levels, body styles, and options:

Four trim levels are available in five passengers Mercedes Benz M class 2015. It is defined by the fitted engine i.e. ML 250 Bluetec, ML 400, ML 350 and ML 63 AMG. All these trim levels are offered with all-wheel drive except for the ML 350. ML 350 had it with rear wheel drive.

The ML 250 has entered the market with standard 18 inches wheels, LED running lights and taillights, a sunroof, a power lift-gate, adaptive suspension, automatic wipers and roof rails. In addition, one also finds dual zone automatic climate control, wood interior trim, eight way power front seats (four way lumber adjustment), MB Tex premium vinyl upholstery (optional is leather), Mercedes mbrace 2 communication system (along with smartphone app integration), eight speaker sound system with HD radio, an auxiliary audio jack, cruise control, a manual tilt as well as telescoping leather wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, the COMAND electronic interface, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, and a USB port.

Performance:

All the Mercedes Benz M Class 2015 models come with the standard seven speed automatic. Except for ML 350 that has option of rear wheel drive, all the other 4Matic are equipped with all-wheel drive as standard.ML 350 has features like V6 3.5 liter engine with 273-pound feet of torque and 302 hp. It accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hours in just 6.8 seconds. It is no doubt average to this segment of cars. Estimated fuel efficiency is 20 miles per gallon with rear drive and 19 miles per gallon with AWD.

The ML 250 Bluetec is with 2.1 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder diesel producing 200 hp and 369 lb ft. of torque.Fue4l economy is 25 miles per gallon. In terms of acceleration, the vehicle offers 8.9 second in 0 to 60 miles per hour and is known to be at the bottom of this class.

The ML 400 boasts with 3.0 liter charged V6 producing 329 hp and 354 lb ft. torque. Estimated fuel economy is 20 miles per gallon. This shows that this matches the efficiency of ML 350 but according to the Mercedez Benz it can sprint to 60 miles per hour in 6.0 seconds.

Similarly ML 63 AMG surprises with 5.5 liter V8 producing 516 lb ft. torque and 518 hp. The Mercedes claims that ML 63 will reach 60 miles per hour in 4.7 seconds. It is in standard form and performance is claimed to knock off at a tenth of a second. Fuel economy offered by the vehicle is 15 miles per gallon.

After being properly equipped, the ML 250 as well as 350 tows up to 6,600 pounds while ML 400 and ML 63 AMG drags up to 7,200 pounds.

Safety Features:
