What is new for the year 2015?

For the year 2015 the Ford Focus has been introduced with a complete makeover. It includes safety systems and infotainment along with the new fuel efficient engine and changes in its interior, exterior.

Introduction:

Ford has not always been a strong entity when it is about compact car segment but at the same time Focus sedan and hatchback are known to be improving when it is about performance, features and looks in every sense and manner. Talking about the exterior the car has been adorned with a hood that has been re-styled, trunk lid, LED signature lighting, and grille. As far as the interior is concerned, the car has been updated with an improved dash layout and materials. For cold season, there is now heated steering wheel.

Standard choice of two transmission and four cylinder engine remain unchanged for the 2015 Ford Focus. But the vehicle has been well adorned with the turbocharged three-cylinder “Eco Boost” engine. Previous SFE package has been replaced by it. Also the vehicle promises to be a fuel efficient vehicle and to top the cars in this segment. Engineers at Ford came up with recalibrated suspension, some new safety options i.e. lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring, made a rare view camera etc. Automated parallel parking system, MyFord touch infotainment controls have been returned in the vehicle.

Just like earlier versions, the 2015 Ford Focus is offered in a number of trim levels. Also, as it is available either in from of a four door sedan or hatchback, therefore it will be attracting a variety of buyers.

Body styles, trim levels, and options in the 2015 Ford Focus:

The 2015 Ford Focus is a compact vehicle that is available in four-door hatchback as well as in sedan. Mainly there are three trim levels available, i.e. Titanium, SE, S, and the Focus Electric.

The S model:

The S model is the only vehicle that is offered as Sedan. It offers the following features:

The SE EcoBoost Pakcgae:

The SE EcoBoost package adds this but at the same time the vehicle needs a manual transition. It does with the three-cylinder turbo charged engine.

Performance and power strain:

The Ford Focus 2015, is a front wheel drive with a 2.0-liter cylinder engine. It comes up with 160 horsepower and 146 pound feet of torque. The SE and S models have five speed manual transmission as standard and optional six speed automatic transmission.

The estimated fuel economy value for the Ford Focus 2015 with the automatic transmission is 31 miles per gallon. When with manual the value becomes 30 miles per gallon combined. For SE EcoBoost, the estimated value is 33 miles per gallon combined. It makes 148 lb ft of torque and 123 horse power.
