The year 2015 has been well adorned by Porsche with Macan. It is an all new luxury crossover SUV.

Introduction

With the success Porshce earned with the introduction of a mid-sized Cayenne Crossover SUV, the company expanded its family with another compact crossover vehicle. But the fact that 2015 Porsche Macan is smaller in size and less expensive, it does not mean that the vehicle is less worthy in any manner. With no mistakes, the new Porsche Macan offers a complete package of handling, speed and engaging driving character that one can expect of the makers of the Cayenne and 911.

The vehicle shares some of the components with the 2015 Audi Q5. The 2015 Porsche Macan has one of its own kind of suspension design, engines and styling. It also has a rear wheel drive performance car. The car has standard all wheel drive system. It usually directs the power of engine to the rear wheels and that the power is redirected to front wheels only and that is whenever needed to maintain the traction.

Two V6 engines are available. Macan S has V6 3.0-liter rated at 340 horsepower. Porsche has re-aided the vehicle with a suspension that is sport tuned and optional features. The Macan S is fully equipped by 3.0-liter V6 engine producing 340 horsepower and 339 pound feet of torque. A 7 speed automated manually transmitted gives the power to all four wheels. Moreover, automatic engine start-stop is standard.

Turbo Macan is propelled by bigger turbo charged 3.6-liter V6 engine with 406 lb-ft torque and 400 hp. It also has the 7 speed transmission along with the all wheel drive.
